Tattoos Looked Upon Differently If You Are Famous

Since I did a celebrity boom column bygone about Pink and she has 25 tattoos that I apperceive of, I anticipation I would accompany this up. Do you anticipate that association looks at rock-stars, athletes, and celebrities abnormally if they accept tattoos than a approved being is looked at. I beggarly for instance, Pink had 25 tattoos or added and if she wasn't a accompanist do you anticipate bodies would appearance her as trashy? Or booty David Beckham for archetype about bisected of his anatomy is covered in tattoos but back he is a acclaimed soccer brilliant he isn't agitated about them. And after the attractive Angelina Jolie, has several tattoos all over her body, would bodies appearance her as abject if she wasn't Angelina Jolie?

I abhorrence to accept that I feel like back they are acclaimed and accept bags of money that some bodies accord them an chargeless agenda to get tattoos and not be hounded about it. But we all apperceive if David Beckham or alike Tommy Lee wasn't as acclaimed as they are, they would added than acceptable be ridiculed about their tattoos and added than acceptable affected to awning them up.

So I anticipate this is aloof addition abundant archetype of how bodies appearance bodies with tattoos. If it is ok for your child's so alleged role archetypal to be covered in tattoos and not get fabricated fun of than what is the aberration of us accustomed bodies accepting tattoos? I alone don't anticipate there is a aberration except for the actuality that their job doesn't attending bottomward aloft if they accept a little or a lot of ink.

My Name Is Khan looses to 3 Idiots

This is a a piece of news which will hurt the fans of Shahrukh Khan. King Khan has lost it out to the perfectionist Aamir Khan once again. Shahrukh's My Name Is Khan which had got a bombastic opening opening in it's first week has lost grip over the Box Office in it's second week and seems to be no match for Aamir's 3 Idiots. My Name Is Khan has seen a steep fall in the second week with occupancy falling as much as 60% to 80%.
The movie had started off well thanks to the controversy created by the Shiv Sena over Shahrukh's support to the Pakistani players in the IPL. Fox Star India which is distributing the movie was excited after the movie had a better start than 3 Idiots. But My Name Is Khan seems to have lost the momentum having grossed Rs. 150 Crores in the second week compared to Rs. 240 Crores , 3 Idiots grossed in the first 10 days.

This is not the first time that Shahrukh has emerged No. 2 in the race. In 2008 too Shahrukh's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was going well but when Aamir's Ghajini released the movie found tough to breathe. Ghajini had gone on to establish records at the Box Office which was incidentally broken by Aamir starer 3 Idiots. Now having lost two consecutive rounds to Aamir, Shahrukh will find it tough to keep his 'Baadshah of Bollywood' tag.

That's my money spent for the weekend!

Did you buy anything good?

Tattoo Lettering

Though we often associate tattoos with pictures or symbols of particular objects, there is a growing population of tattoo lettering styles that reflect the written word. From bold words to statements to live by and quotes to admire, with or without accent images, tattoo lettering designs are increasingly popular in this modern day of self expression and style. Tattoo lettering essentially

Wrist Tattoo

This is a pretty tattoo, I like it a lot. Its a wrist tattoo, but it could easily be on a girls foot or anywhere else for that matter. Blue rose surrounded by free flowing vines, very nice indeed. Just change the color of the rose here and there and maybe add a little calligraphy inside the vines and you got a super hot wrist tattoo. Now days you have to be careful about wrist tattoos and other.

Megan Fox Tattoos

When it comes to megan fox tattoos most of us will pay very close attention. Rarely do we get to look at tattoos on such a drop dead gorgeous woman as her. But this tattoo, a quote from Shakespeare, we will all laugh at gilded butterflies, is both a deep thing to say and a very simple thing to say. This is one of the many ways which Shakespeare used with his characters to have them say what they

Why do doctors have such bad handwriting?

i'm googling and i found pediatric dentistry blog, who share about doc's bad handwritting, he say:
Many people think most docs have atrocious handwriting.
Why? Did they always have this condition? Do they teach it in medical and dental school?
Being a dentist, I think I know the answer. Firstly doctors do not have bad handwriting, they just choose to write badly. This is not a conscious decision to confuse people, but an unintentional consequence of viewing other things as more important or urgent in the moment. These are the same people who have developed fine motor skills for precise surgical procedures. They CAN move a pen and write well.

Why?
From personal experience, I have three writing styles. One is artistic and legible, the second is legible but occasionally a little more messy, and finally I have the doctor chicken scratch. Why do I "choose" to write messily? Like I mentioned above, we may be in a time crunch, usually not rushed, but mentally, writing takes on less importance than other things going on at the time. Even if we are not in a hurry, we immediately place the importance of a legible signature, etc. below that of a patient's time, the patient waiting in the next room and the much more important (to us at the time) of putting all our energy into diagnosis and treatment concerns.

As an aside, in the past there was a certain shorthand used for prescriptions that would mean, say three teaspoons that would be just a squiggle that the pharmacist would understand. These days it is still important the pharmacist and other health care professionals understand orders, prescriptions and notes. Thank goodness for the development of paperless solutions and computers. Oh, and spell check too!

" i agree with his statement, wrong opinion said that worse handwritting means that u're a better even best doctor. it's just because we are in a rush... actually the doc have a good handwritting"

Vampire Woman and Ravens

I just thought this was a fantastic image, which presumably is of a vampire woman with ravens landing on or flying around her.

The clouds, the light, and of course the woman and the ravens really work great together. I really enjoyed this image and thought you would like it too.

What about those choppers? Definitely needs a dental plan. Hey, even zombies need a dental plan, don't they?

Anyway, pretty stange zombie photo on the book cover.

Weird Skeleton Face Tattoo

Skeleton Face Tattoo

This is way too much for me, as what in the world is he going to do the rest of his life, unless he works in a tattoo parlor, if even they would have him?

A face tattoo of any type is very risky, but this one is extremely high risk, and plain gross, although from the point of view of how well it was done, it was quality.

Still, you've got to not want to be around people to get something done like this, and it's just too far over the edge for even some of the more open people in society.

The "Health Care Summit" was yet another setback for President Obama. He had hoped to sway public opinion by talking rings around the repubs on national TV for a few hours.

Oops.

Will he still try to cram crappy Obamacare through the Congress?
We shall see.

2. Earthquake!
The Richter scale is base 10 logarithmic (wikipedia). So, a mag 5 earthquake is 10x more powerful ("seismic energy") than a mag 4.

Earthquakes like these:
  • Illinois 2010 - We had an earthquake earlier this month in Illinois. It was early in the morning. I felt it, but I didn't realize it was an earthquake. That was a magnitude 3.8 quake (source).
  • San Jose 1989 - My favorite earthquake was the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake... because I was there. It was magnitude 6.9. So, the 1989 quake was roughly 1,000x more powerful than our little Naperville shake.
  • Chile 2010 - My earthquake theme is because there was a big quake in Chile today, mag 8.8. That's roughly 100x more powerful than 1989... or 100,000x more powerful than Naperville's baby quake. Yow!

Wikipedia says I was born on the same day as:
  • Adam Baldwin - I don't think he's a "Baldwin brother". I remember him most in "My Bodyguard" from back in the day, and more recently, from "Serenity"... a movie I heart.
  • Grant Show - who I don't know from Adam... um, any Adam, not just Adam Baldwin.
I got a fish for my birthday (the Christmas fish already, um, passed on):
My birthday fish swims past Squidward's house

We'll name him:
  • Flint... main character from "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", or
  • Ryan Miller... if the USA hockey team wins Sunday
Stay tuned... and GO USA!

48 is OK.
Sure, things are slowing down, but nothing's fallen off yet. He he!
Birthday poker party at The Castle today... then family dinner at Domo tomorrow.
happy birthday... yow, bill

Rib Tattoos

A rib tattoo can be one of the most painful tattoos that a person can get. Also that area of the body can be quite challenging for an artist to ink due to each person’s unique size, shape and natural curves. But, if an artist is properly found and a person has given the rib tattoo a lot of thought it can be pretty impressive. Just make sure that you keep a few things in mind. One, decide on

Skulls Tattoos

If you’re thinking about skull tattoos then this is a drawing you should take a look at. It seems a little strange and wild but I think I know exactly what I am looking at here. And I am pretty sure I am right this time. Remember the hunter type of aliens from any of the Predator movies? I believe the creature on the far left in this image, is that predator creature and that the other two skulls

This is a tattoo design that has it’s roots in the ancient Celtic pagan religions. A lot of people consider this to be an Irish tattoo design and the two terms are often used to refer to the same genre. Fourth Station--Jesus Meets his Afflicted Mother

(From the Stations of the Cross by Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS)

Fourth Station: Jesus Meets his Afflicted Mother

Leader: O holy Christ, we worship you, we adore you;
People: Your blessed Mother wept at the sight of your pain.

As your mother saw your bruised, bloody and scourged body, she thought of an angel that spoke to her over three decades ago. "Greetings, favored one!" the angel had told her. What favor was there in this? How could the crowds who cheered triumphantly upon her son's entry into Jerusalem now mock him? Her son had fulfilled the angel's words--he had lifted up the lowly, and he had filled the hungry with the hope of good things--love and trust in our eternal Maker.

"O Adonai!" she must have cried. "Come to the help of your servant Israel! Where is the promise--the promise you gave to Abraham and our fathers? Where is the promise you made to me, that my son would reign over the house of Jacob, and where is his kingdom that has no end? All I see is my beloved son, who suffers unspeakably. Why have you deserted him, O Lord, and why have you deserted me? My son will either die on the cross that he carries or die on the streets like a beaten stray dog. I beg you to come to the aid of my Son, my Lord, my rock, and my Redeemer."

Leader: Not only did the whips and spears pierce your Son
People: But each mark upon him wounded his mother's soul.

Leader: Let us pray.
(a brief period of silence is observed.)

Eternal God of power and might;
We so often think of you as "our Father."
But you are both Father and Mother.
As we think about how the Blessed Mother of Jesus
longed to cradle her hurting son in her arms,
and spare him his fate,
teach us in our most desperate moments
to be unafraid to cling to you
like a fearful child clinging to a mother's bosom.
May we always feel your nurturing love, O Lord,
even when the world seems turned upside down.

People: Amen.

Holy God,
Holy and Mighty,
Holy immortal one,
Have mercy on us.

Lent and Love as illustrated by the Velveteen Rabbit

"Does it happen all at once, like being wound up," he asked, "or bit by bit?" "It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse. "You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in your joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."

From "The Velveteen Rabbit" by Margery Williams

I bumped into this quote via a Lenten devotional set using this book as the focus, written by Andrew Dotchin. It's being posted this Lent here.

Although I read it early this morning, in my "coffee and prayer" time, it has stuck in my head all day long today--probably because of where my focus is this Lent. Every Lent is different. Some years, I haven't felt like I had much cleaning up to do. Last year, I came to the realization that there were some parts of me that needed to be cleaned off down to the bare metal. I had decades of grime simply from the wear and tear , covered with layers of paint, that would need to be stripped down before re-painting, because I felt that if I didn't, the paint wouldn't "stick."

I've done a lot of that stripping--not as much as I had hoped, in some places--but enough that there's plenty bare metal showing. But here is where I ran into one of those twisty curves I blogged about in a previous post. My first big Lenten discovery this year is that I am probably not supposed to paint that bare metal, rather, my task is to shine it up and let it glimmer with the natural gloss that it is, and for it to develop its own patina, like fine antique metal work.

But what it means is I have to work with my barest, truest, most holy self, and it means giving up a large chunk of "who I thought I was." I got used to the color of the paint. I thought on occasion, others were touching it up with paint and in reality, they were putting tar on it, allowing more dirt and grime to stick. Still others painted with good intentions, or I painted it myself, but the colors didn't quite match, or the surface wasn't prepped enough for it to stick well.

All in all, these are not bad discoveries. But they can become a bit confusing at times. Some are literally hidden surprises. Here's another way to look at it. Imagine having a room in the house that for years, had bile green or baby poop yellow carpet. There's always enough furniture and ample enough throw rugs to hide the carpet you don't like. But now imagine stripping away all the coverings and finding a gleaming hardwood floor that got covered simply because at the time, it was the fad to have wall-to-wall carpet.

Others are rotten spots in the floor you didn't know exist, and you stare at them and think, "It's a wonder I didn't fall through here." Still others need minor repairs, and there are lots of places that aren't worth fixing, and their minor defects lend character.

So, in this sense, it's a different kind of Lent for me. It is a season of imagining what the room will look like for the great adventures of life yet to come. It's about making this room hospitable for company. It's about being real, in the way the Velveteen Rabbit yearned to be real, and about letting others love me until my hair is rubbed off. It's about looking at less "protecting" and more fanning the flames of the imaginations of others, and inviting everyone over for S'mores.

I really believe when we do that, the flames of our own imaginations thrive.

I am Responsible For Century: Yudhoyono

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said on Thursday (25/2) that responsibility on Bank Century scandal lies heavily on himself as head of the state and announced to make an official speech, after his meeting with chairmen of the upper house.

Upon starting a second meeting in the day with his cabinet members Yudhoyono said “I as the head of state of certainly the most responsible person, I will make my official speech.”

The official address reportedly will be made soon but the president stopped short on disclosing the time.
Yudhoyono said further “I will construct the speech directly before the public.”

The conclusions from each party in the parliamentary inquiry presented on Wednesday (24/2) absolutely no mention of Yudhoyono's name as the official that should be held accountable for the scandal, focusing their attack instead on Vice President Boediono, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, Board of Governors of Bank Indonesia, State Deposit Insurance Company, and other officials including one presidential staff.

But the conclusion was not presented before the inquiry committee went to consult the scandal with chairman of the Golkar Party Aburizal Bakrie.

Yudhoyono also advised Vice President Boediono, who is celebrating his 67th birthday today to be prepared and tough.
